Simpson Productions starts their 2021-22 performances tomorrow evening with the opera “The Enchanted Pig: A Musical Tale” at the Blank Performing Arts Center. The performance marks the Iowa premiere of the 2006 contemporary opera with music by Jonathan Dove and lyrics by Alasdair Middleton, and is the first Simpson Productions at the performing arts center since March of 2020.

The opera will take place Oct. 22-24 at Simpson’s Blank Performing Arts Center. Friday and Saturday show times begin at 7:30 p.m. with a Sunday matinee scheduled for 2 p.m. For ticket information, go to this story on KNIAKRLS.com.
