Pleasantville’s volleyball squad saw their season come to an end against Colfax-Mingo in the first round of the playoffs Wednesday night, but they have players to thank for their success.
Adi Adreon broke the school record for career assists by a Trojan with 1,648, passing Alli Friday. Adreon had 579 assists, averaging over 17 per game. Four Trojans had more than 100 kills in 2021, led by sophomore Danika Park with 213. Pleasantville also had five players with more than 100 digs. Leah Adreon led Pleasantville with 181, while Adi Adreon had 173. Kendall Krichau led Pleasantville in aces with 49, nine ahead of Emily Roe. Olivia Anthony led the Trojans in blocks with 40.
Pleasantville finished the season with a 14-20 record with a 3-7 record in West Central play and a first-round playoff loss to Colfax-Mingo Wednesday night.
