Indianola Hometown Pride is hosting a focus group to discuss a community art walk along N Buxton St. today, inviting community partners and interested parties to review a community vision plan for the area.
The current plan was proposed in the 2020 Vision Plan put together by Indianola Hometown Pride and approved by the Indianola City Council, and looks to tell the story of Indianola’s culture and history; connect Simpson college and the square; attract visitors; and help strengthen community pride through the creation of a culture walk near the downtown area.
The focus group is at the Des Moines Metro Opera at 106 W Boston Ave from 7-8pm, with masks required.
