The Central volleyball team will play its final conference match of the season tonight, playing host to Nebraska Wesleyan. The Dutch enter the contest having already clinched a conference tournament spot, but seeding is still on the line. At 3-4, a win will earn the Dutch the #5 seed, while a loss makes Central the #6 seed.
The Prairie Wolves are out of conference tournament contention at 1-6 in league play, and have lost seven straight. The all-time series is tied at 15 games apiece, but Nebraska Wesleyan has won four straight against the Dutch. Central’s last home win in the series was in 2004, well before Nebraska Wesleyan joined the American Rivers Conference.
Tonight’s match begins at 7:30 p.m. inside P.H. Kuyper Gymnasium.
