Two Halloween events will take place in Knoxville this evening.
Marion County Public Health will host a Fall Treat Walk for children ages 1-10 and their families. Games and prizes will be available. The event is from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Marion County Public Health office in Knoxville.
The Marion County Extension Office will host a “Trunk or Treat” at its gym. County Youth Coordinator Ashtin Wells says community organizations from the county will offer treats to children in costumes.
“We want to provide a community-wide event to help promote the extension office and 4H. It’s something we’ve talked about doing to promote it to our community partners.”
The event is from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the extension office in Knoxville.
