Indianola Parks and Rec is hosting their annual Costume Party on the downtown Indianola square tomorrow morning, inviting kids, families, and dogs to participate. Organizer Afton Bradley tells KNIA News there will be contests for kids and families, and she always looks forward to the themed group costumes.

“When they all participate it’s fun. We’ve had FBI agents and a son being a president, we’ve had trolls, we’ve had all of them dress up as a Marvel squad. It’s just fun to see them all together dress up, because they stick out and they are unique. It’s just fun, a lot of fun.”

The costume contest will take place on and around the Indianola downtown square from 10am to noon, with the KNIA Big Red Radio on location playing music and making announcements.
