Knoxville, Indianola, and Norwalk all sent athletes to the State Cross Country Meet in Fort Dodge Friday, with the Indianola girls and Norwalk boys teams qualifying, and individuals from the Knoxville boys, Indianola boys, and Norwalk girls squads competing.

The Indianola girls placed 15th in class 4A, with Jordyn Brown leading the way with a 52nd place finish, followed by Bree Tenges in 71st and Gracie Foster in 81st, while Norwalk’s Breelie Mauro ended in 83rd.

In class 4A boys, Norwalk finished in 6th place led by Donovan Card in 30th, Will Chase in 34th, and Jack Brown in 36th, while Indianola was led by an 18th place finish from Curtis Johnson and Logan Hoger earned a 31st place finish.

Knoxville’s Seth Walraven finished in 78th in class 3A boys.
