Voters living in the Pella Community School District (see map above) will have opportunity to vote for two contested board seats and the bond issue.
Superintendent Greg Ebeling says there has been some confusion as to who can vote for what Tuesday; those living in the Pella City Limits can vote for both the City Council candidates specific to their ward and for all Pella School District candidates and the bond issue; anyone else is voting for school issues only as long as they live in the district borders.
This year’s Pella School Board candidates:
At-Large:
Elisa Klahsen (Incumbent)
Kevin Jones
District 1 – Held by Annette Smith (not running)
Jeana Clark
Jesse Peterson
District 2
Joan Corbin (Incumbent)
