For the second week in a row, a Pella High School graduate has been recognized for his kicking. Chase Carter of Morningside is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Special Teams Player-of-the-Week. Carter, a junior from Knoxville, ran his current string of made extra point attempts to 25 as he converted double-digit attempts for second time in last three games. In addition, he also launched six of eight kickoffs into end zone for touchbacks. The third-ranked Mustangs travel to take on second-ranked Northwestern on November 6.
