Knoxville Runner Seth Walraven ran in the class 3A State Cross Country Meet for the second straight season last week. Walraven finished 78th on Friday in a time of 17:51. Walraven saw his season as consistent unlike last season where he was up and down. Walraven tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he was glad to have several top finishes this season especially at the South Central Conference meet.

Walraven: “I was finishing near the top of our conference meets, and I was glad to finish where I did at the conference meet, and I felt I was up and down last year, where this year I was more flat.”

Walraven will have one final meet as a high school runner as he will participate in Saturday’s Senior All-Star Meet which will be held at the Pella Sports Park.
