The Central College women’s basketball season opener Saturday with Emmaus Bible College has been canceled. The cancelation was made at the request of Emmaus officials due to health and safety reasons.

The Central men’s squad will still play its opener Saturday at 5 p.m. against Bethany Lutheran College (Minn.) in P.H. Kuyper Gymnasium.

The Dutch women’s team will wait an extra two days before launching the 2021-22 campaign with a non-conference game at Grinnell College Monday at 7 p.m.
