Local businesses on the downtown Indianola square will be open later each Thursday from now until December 23rd, to help encourage shoppers to choose local businesses for their holiday shopping. Indianola Chamber President and CEO Brenda Easter tells KNIA News when you shop local and choose small businesses, the money stays right here in the community and goes to improve our local roads, city buildings, schools, and the rest of the community.

Participating shops will be open until 7pm for Holiday Thursdays, and the Indianola Chamber is also hosting a Shop Local Saturday for Small Business Saturday on November 27th.
