Voters across Marion County had the option to vote for public measures in Tuesday’s election, and they each passed.
In Knoxville, the Local Option Sales & Service Tax passed with 77 percent voting yes.
In Bussey, 74 percent of voters voted to continue the Local Option Sales & Service Tax.
In Melcher-Dallas, the Local Option Sales & Service Tax passed with 58 percent voting yes.
61 percent of voters in unincorporated areas voted to continue the Local Option Sales & Service Tax.
Pleasantville’s public measure passed with 73 percent of the vote, which was to establish a city library support levy not to exceed 27 cents per thousand dollars of assessed value for a public library.
