Norwalk senior volleyball player Cate Backstrom was one of the honorable mention choices on this year’s All-Little Hawkeye Conference teams. The setter had 745 assists to lead the team and place second in the conference, and tied for the team lead with 39 service aces. She says her on-court communication was a big factor this year.

Backstrom was one of six seniors in this year’s team. Norwalk finished 23-18.
