The Pella Christian Volleyball team had two student-athletes receive recognition from the Iowa Girls Coaches Association this week, as seniors Sarah Gritters and Lydia Zylstra made the 2021 Academic All State Volleyball team. This announcement came the same day that three of the four Eagles’ seniors were selected for All Conference honors. Head Coach Tammi Wight wasn’t surprised that the four seniors were recognized for their efforts, as she has seen the work they have put in to reach this point.

“These four have put in the work. They’ve put in the work all four years that they’ve been at Pella Christian High School, and they love playing volleyball, they love playing other sports and they’ve put in the work across the board.”

The Eagles finished the season with an overall record of 19-20 overall record and a conference record of 3-6.
