Pleasantville’s cross country squad finished 2021 on a high note and they look to build off of a strong finish in the final month of the season.

Despite having low finishes in their meets, the Trojans set a lot of new personal records that gave the young team confidence to finish the season. The highest finish for both teams during the season was fourth-place finishes. Pleasantville’s boys finished fourth in both Central Decatur and Nodaway Valley, while the Trojans’ girls finished fourth in Central Decatur as well.

Pleasantville’s season ended at the state-qualifying round at Pekin.
