PCM’s football squad had seven players make first-team All-District to cap off the 2021 season.
The Mustangs had two offensive players, four defensive players, and one special teams player make First-Team All-District. The two offensive players that made first-team were Aidan Anderson and Carson Vandelune. Anderson had 115 touches for 1,019 yards and nine touchdowns. Vandelune had 943 all-purpose yards and 12 total touchdowns.
The four PCM defenders that made First-Team were Ethan Camu, Donovan Nickelson, Gavin Fenton, and Durant Van Dyke. Camu had 27.5 tackles and three for a loss. Nickelson had 36.5 tackles, including 13 for a loss, and one fumble recovery. Fenton had 36.5 tackles, including two for a loss, two fumble recoveries, and two interceptions. Van Dyke finished with 27 tackles, five for a loss, and a fumble recovery. The special teams player that made First-team was punter Tyler Kuecker. Kuecker averaged 34 yards per punt on 25 punts in 2021.
PCM finished the season with a 5-5 record and a 3-2 record in Class 2A District 7 play in 2021.
