Some of Iowa’s best high school seniors finished their cross country careers Saturday at the Pella Sports Park during the Iowa Track and Field Coaches Association All-Star Meet.
Pella Head Coach Doug Cutler says he was thankful to have the program host a meet to recognize the outgoing athletes of schools across the state and to celebrate their contributions to the sport.
Among the area athletes competing in the boys race included Pella’s Josiah Wittenberg, Akira Lopez, and Cutler Turner, Knoxville’s Seth Walraven, and Norwalk’s Brody Lucas. An open race included several members of the Pella Boys Cross Country team and All-State honoree Reagan Snieder.
