The first Knoxville High School Choir concert of the school year will be held tonight in the Knoxville Performing Arts Center, with performances by the Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, and a special guest performance by the Central College Chamber Singers. Director Ian Heetland encourages everyone to come out to enjoy a wide variety of music.

“I’m a firm believer that music heals the soul. Different kinds of music touches different kinds of people. It’ll be a good night. You’ll get to hear the talents of the Knoxville students, as well as the Central College students. We’ve got some spiritual pieces, some contemporary stuff, some students singing solos. We’d be super happy to have you, and the students would be super happy to see the community support.”

The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Knoxville Performing Arts Center.
