Several athletes from the Pella Christian and Pleasantville football teams received Class 1A District 6 postseason honors this fall.
Eight Eagles earned 1st team honors this fall. Senior wide receivers Eric Mulder, Bennett Spronk and linebacker Drew Geetings of Pella Christian were unanimous 1st team selections for the Eagles. Junior quarterback Isaac Kacmarynski, offensive lineman Owen Menninga, linebacker Josiah Diehl, defensive back Peyton Ritzert, and sophomore defensive lineman Trevor Veenstra were also 1st team selections for the Eagles. Kacmarynski and Geetings are both two-time first team selections, while Bennett Spronk was selected as a second team selection in 2019.

The Eagles finished in Second Place in Class 1A District 6 going 4-1, and earned an opening round home game in the Class 1A Playoffs. The Eagles defeated Mediapolis 42-21 in the opening round before falling to #4 Dike-New Hartford in the Second Round 35-14.
Pleasantville Senior defensive lineman Trevor Daggett, offensive lineman Larry Remster, and Sophomore linebacker Caleb Cook earned 1st team honors for the Trojans this fall. All three players were first time selections for All-District honors.

Pleasantville finished 4th in the district with a 2-3 record, and qualified for the Class 1A playoffs with a week eight victory. Pleasantville lost their first round matchup to #1 in Class 1A Van Meter 77-14.
