The Indianola Police Department concluded the Pink Patch Fundraiser at the end of October, raising money by selling pink Indianola Police Department Patches to donate to the Pink Tractor Foundation.
Interim Police Chief Brian Sher tells KNIA News the patches were worn by officers as well as placed on select patrol vehicles, and over $1,400 was generated by the community and donated to the foundation.
The Pink Tractor Foundation is a Non-Profit Organization raising money to help local families fighting any and all types of cancer.
