The Pella Christian volleyball team graduates four seniors from the 2021-2022 squad, but their impact will be felt in the seasons to come.

The success of this year’s seniors saw Sarah Gritters and Natalie Harrill earn 1st team All-Little Hawkeye Conference selections, and Trinity Vos earned Honorable Mention. The success wasn’t limited to the volleyball court as Lydia Zylstra and Gritters earned Academic All-State honors. The leadership of these seniors both on and off the court was something Eagles first-year Head Coach Tammi Wight greatly appreciated. Coach Wight said their impact on the program gave the Eagles a good building block for the upcoming seasons.

“I had a great group of seniors coming in and I’m just really blessed to have had those four girls this season. They laid a really good foundation for us moving forward, and it was a real honor for me to coach these girls. They were a really fun team and we got better over the season; and we finished really well.”

Pella Christian finished the season with an overall record of 19-20.
