The City of Knoxville is holding a Rental Inspection Program Landlord meeting next week. City Manager Heather Ussery says this meeting will be a chance for landlords in the city to familiarize themselves with the program before it takes effect.

“Last year, we had a couple of these meetings, but they were done online due to COVID. We promised we’d do another in-person meeting before the program rolled out. This one will be November 18th at 6:00 p.m. at the library.”

The purpose of these meetings is to inform landlords of the administrative policies of the program, to discuss common violations identified during the inspections, and to clarify any questions about the program. Learn more about the program here.
