PCM struggled at times to put points on the scoreboard, but their best offensive output was on Homecoming Night against Albia.

The Mustangs came into the game on a three-game losing streak, losing their last game at Iowa Falls-Alden, 16-0. With Gavin Van Gorp starting at quarterback, PCM’s offense struggled to get anything going recently. However, the Mustangs’ defense got the scoring started with a safety, leading 2-0. PCM got the ball after the safety punt, and marched right down the field, capping their opening drive with a 20-yard touchdown run by Aidan Anderson, making the score 8-0. PCM got the ball back after an Albia three-and-out, and Anderson broke off his longest run of the night.

PCM would get another touchdown run from Anderson, making the score 22-0 after the first quarter. Anderson was not done, though, as he capped off a brilliant first half with his fourth touchdown.

The Mustangs would add three more touchdowns in the second half, including two from Adrian Robbins, as the Mustangs blew out the Blue Demons 50-6. Anderson, who was named homecoming king, finished with 225 yards on just 15 carries and four touchdowns.

PCM finished the season with a 5-5 overall record and a 3-2 record in Class 2A District 7 play. The Mustangs would lose in the second round of the playoffs to Williamsburg.
