Several Central sports teams were in action Saturday, highlighted by the football team’s 65-6 road victory over Buena Vista to cap an undefeated regular season.

The wrestling team was at the Millikin Open. No team scores were kept, but sophomores Brock Beck and Duncan Delzell made undefeated runs through the 141-pound bracket, before sharing the title after both advanced to the championship match.

Both the men’s and women’s cross country teams placed sixth of 24 at the Midwest Regional in Rock Island, Ill.

The women’s basketball team concluded the Coe College Tournament by falling to Westminster 70-57. The men’s basketball team capped off the Bill Merris Tournament title with a 72-71 win at Illinois College.
