It was a banner weekend for the NCMP Aquagirls at the 2021 State Swimming meet.

The team made up of Newton and Pella athletes finished with three relays in the top 10 and a 4th place finish from four-year state qualifier Hannah Nedder in the 100 yard butterfly (time: 57.45). Her preliminary swim on Friday was a personal best and the 3rd fastest time (56.45) heading into Saturday’s finals.

Their team finish of 14th came with 61 points, out of 32 teams that scored and many others who sent athletes to state but didn’t have an athlete or relay place in the scoring standings.
