The Helping Hand of Warren County held the second of two open houses this past week on Sunday, welcoming the public to view the upgrades to the facility, interact with board members, and learn about the new programs being implemented. Executive Director Sue Wilson tells KNIA News the open house was an opportunity to recognize the hard work the community puts in, and a way to get more engaged with those who support the organization.

“We wanted to thank all the people over the last years who have just continued to support us financially, support us through volunteering, support us through partnerships, and we wanted to create an atmosphere of thank you for that. As well as show people what we are doing, where we are going, and why the Helping Hand of Warren County is moving in these directions and how much we would appreciate monthly and yearly sponsors so we can continue to move forward.”
