A former Pella High School kicker has his eyes on a National Championship run with Morningside after earning several honors for his performances.
Junior placekicker Chase Carter represented Morningside University’s football program last week as the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics’ Special Teams Player of the Week.
Carter says the Mustangs are now gearing up for a second title in his three seasons on campus as the No. 2 seed in the NAIA football playoffs, which start this Saturday. Carter was a freshman kicker and a starter for the 2019 Morningside NAIA champions.
Hear from Carter about his college football career on this week’s Radio Sports Page, which airs every Wednesday at 6 p.m. and Thursday at 10 a.m. on 92.1 KRLS.
