pleasantville-3

After struggling with a 7-15 season in 2020-21, Pleasantville’s boys basketball squad will try to improve with two starters returning to the starting lineup.

The Trojans will be bringing back star guard Mason Scheve, who averaged 19 points per game on 47% shooting, 40% from beyond the arc, and 69% from the free throw line last season. Scheve also led the team in steals, averaging just over two per game. The other starter Pleasantville will be bringing back is Taylon Mount, who averaged just over six points per game and shot 35% from three-point range in 2020. Players that are expected to be key contributors this season could be Jake DeJoode and Parker Sheets.

Pleasantville opens the season November 30th against Melcher-Dallas as part of the first girls/boys doubleheader of the season.
