Shortly before 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, multiple fire departments were paged to a residential structure fire at 366 Vermont Drive near Melcher-Dallas. A shed caught fire and some farm machinery was damaged, but no one was injured.

Responding agencies included the Melcher-Dallas Fire Department, Pleasantville Fire Department, Columbia Fire Department, Indiana Township Fire Department, Williamson Fire Department, Lacona Fire Department, and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
