The City of Knoxville is holding a Rental Inspection Program Landlord meeting today. City Manager Heather Ussery says the city’s landlords will have the opportunity to review policies before the program takes effect in January.

“It’ll be at 6:00 p.m. at the library. Jason Van Ausdall from Iowa Inspections is the third party that will be doing the inspections. He will be present, and will go over the inspection program itself, and will allow a majority of the time to answer questions. All of his information is available on the city website.”

The purpose of these meetings is to inform landlords of the administrative policies of the program, to discuss common violations identified during the inspections, and to clarify any questions about the program.
