A non-profit organization aiming to enhance the Central Business District in Pella received another large donation this week.

Vermeer Corporation gave $50,000 to the Spirit of Pella through the Vermeer Charitable Organization. It had received the same-sized contribution from the Rolscreen Foundation in October.

Mary Mansfield with the Spirit of Pella says in partnership with the PACE Alliance and other organizations and businesses, the team formed to create a non-profit organization with a mission to create projects to enhance the community, including enhancements for the holiday season.
