With the fall sports season now complete and the winter sports season set to begin for Iowa high schools, the Indianola High School activities department is proud of the way the Indianola athletes, musicians, performers, or other club members conducted themselves this year. Activities Director Lee Nelson tells KNIA News that is what is most important to him, rather than wins on the court or awards.

“We want our kids to get a lot more out of whatever it is they are doing than just did you win at the end of the day or not. So when you talk about the way our kids represent themselves on the field, on the court, on the stage, whatever it is that they are doing, we always feel really proud of the people that we are putting in front of others.”
