The 2021-2022 girls basketball season begins tonight as Norwalk plays host to ADM in non-conference action. The Warriors are coming off a 12-11 season, and return a good chunk of talent from last year’s team. Head Coach Jill Martin says ADM, along with the other non-conference opponents, are designed to test her team.

“We always play a tough non-conference. We play great programs that are run really well, consistent in their style of play. Our job is to test ourselves, we don’t want to be playing our best basketball in November. It’s a good measuring stick for us to go into conference play. We’re also hoping for some flashes of greatness throughout the first couple games.”

On the other side, ADM went 9-15 a season ago, but has won three straight in the series. Tonight’s game tips off at 7:30 p.m. inside the Norwalk High School gymnasium.
