One thing that new Twin Cedars Girls Basketball Coach Zack Dunkin will have this season is experience. Many of the girls who played last season will be back as either juniors or seniors. One thing that the Sabers had trouble with last year was closing out games. Dunkin says that starts at the free throw line and giving the girls confidence that they can complete the victory.
Dunkin: “We’re shooting it pretty well in practice and I know it’s not a game. We’re shooting at around 65% clip, and I think if we can continue to do that in games, then we’ll be able to close out those games.”
