With the 2021-22 season starting Tuesday, PCM will try to compete in a difficult Heart of Iowa Conference.

The Mustangs finished with an 11-11 record and a 5-6 record in Heart of Iowa Conference play last season. PCM finished fourth behind Roland-Story, Nevada, and South Hamilton. The Mustangs also finished ahead of Greene County, West Marshall, and Saydel. The Mustangs have a new Heart of Iowa Conference opponent in Perry, who is coming over from the Raccoon River Conference. The Mustangs will play Perry December 14 at home and January 28 on the road. PCM’s first Heart of Iowa Conference matchup will be December 3 at home against Nevada.

PCM opens the season Tuesday on the road at Knoxville. The game will be broadcast on 95.3 KNIA.
