United Way of Marion County’s 2021 campaign is underway, with a goal of raising $60,000 to support the betterment of the communities in the county.

The group recently received a $5,000 donation from Hormel Plant Manager Pat Kranz and Hormel workers, as well as a $5,000 donation from Weiler Products of Knoxville.

In turn, United Way recently presented a check to the Knoxville Senior Center. The funds will be used to purchase disposable trays to be used for the Meals on Wheels program. A donation was also given to Montgomery Street Preschool, the only faith based preschool in Knoxville.
