With the lack of experience returning for the Melcher-Dallas Girls Basketball Squad this season, the Saints will have to change the way they approach the games. Coach Kelsey Goff tells KNIA Sports she is trying to get the girls to run the offense, which is different from last season’s more uptempo play.

Goff : “So running up and down that court and just shooting, that’s going to be a focus and being disciplined enough to pass the ball around two or three times to get a good shot.”

Melcher-Dallas fell to Wayne to start the season on Tuesday and has another tough assignment this Tuesday as the Saints head to Plaeasantville along with the boys for a varsity double header. Those games can be heard live on kniakrls.com KRLS3 beginning at 6:00.
