A lot of fresh faces are added to PCM’s boys’ basketball squad, but they are highlighted by the amount of height and athleticism that is on the roster.
Of the 12 players that are on the Mustangs’ roster, seven of them are 6’ or taller. The tallest player on PCM this season is returning starter and senior Durant Van Dyke, who currently stands at 6’6”. Van Dyke averaged 9.5 points and just over nine rebounds per game last season for PCM. Other players that are 6’ or taller include Grant Van Veen at 6’5”, Matt Rosonke at 6’3”, Keaton Thomas at 6’2”, Brayden Nessa at 6’1”, Jacob Wendt at 6’1”, and Gavin Van Gorp at 6’. With this many fresh faces for the Mustangs, expect them to showcase their muscle on defense.
The Mustangs open the season Tuesday on the road against Knoxville, and the game will be broadcast on 95.3 KNIA.
