Area high school dancers will compete at the Iowa State Dance and Drill Team Association state contest this week.

Knoxville has seven soloists and will compete as a team in the Novelty Class II, all taking place on Thursday. Indianola has five solo competitors, who will perform Friday. Pella has seven soloists competing Thursday. Pella Christian has three soloists, who will compete Wednesday. Norwalk has six solo performances Friday. Pleasantville has six solo performances, and will compete as a team in the Novelty Class II Thursday. PCM has five soloists competing Wednesday, and will compete in the Novelty Class II Thursday.
