Indianola Municipal Utilities is warning customers of a recurring scam with a caller claiming to be with the “electric company” and threatening to disconnect services without a payment. IMU does not call customers prior to disconnecting services, and they are asking those who receive a call to contact IMU to confirm account status. For more information, visit the IMU Facebook page.
