The Knoxville Public Library displays the work of local artists on a rotating basis. Director Roslin Thompson says this month, quilts are on display.
“We have a wall that’s dedicated to local artists. For December, we have local artist Patsy Murphy. She’s known for her paintings and her quilts. We’re showcasing some of her quilts and artwork in the display case. People are welcome to come in and see this and all the beautiful artwork at the library.”
Murphy’s works can be viewed in the display case in the hallway, as well as the art wall behind the checkout counter. Learn more about this display and other December events at the Knoxville Public Library on today’s Let’s Talk Knoxville.
