The Norwalk wrestling team begins its season tonight, traveling to Dallas Center-Grimes for a Little Hawkeye Conference dual. With a relatively even mix of returners and newcomers, Head Coach Jake Brown says tonight will serve as a measuring stick for his program against another strong opponent.

“Dallas Center-Grimes is looking really tough this year. They have almost everyone back from a good team last year. A lot of questions will be answered, how we are, where we’re at as a program. Right now if I put it down on paper, I see us pretty even. Our guys don’t really have time to grow into it. It’s time to be the guy.”

It’ll be the season opener for both teams. Varsity action begins at 7:30 p.m. inside the Dallas Center-Grimes Meadows gymnasium.
