The Norwalk wrestling team began its season Thursday, falling 35-28 in a road match at Dallas Center-Grimes. Norwalk actually won more individual bouts in the match, but five of DCG’s six wins were by fall.

Norwalk had wins by Jacob McKenzie at 120, Trenton Harper at 126, Donovan Card at 138, Nathaniel Adams at 145, Dominic Tigner at 160, Zakk Miller at 195, Grant Kimball at 220, and Maddux Borcherding-Johnson at heavyweight.

Norwalk starts 0-1 in duals, and returns to action Saturday at an invitational in Cedar Falls.
