Along with the football team’s playoff game at Wisconsin-Whitewater, three other Central sports teams are in action today.

The wrestling team is back in action at the MSOE Invitational after a road victory over Augustana Thursday. Action begins at 9:00 a.m.

The basketball teams will play their first road conference games, traveling to Dubuque for a doubleheader. The Dutch women will play their first conference game after they won by forfeit over Nebraska Wesleyan Wednesday. Meanwhile the Dutch men will look to bounce back after falling to the Prairie Wolves in Wednesday’s opener, but the Spartans were the preseason league favorite. Today’s doubleheader will air on KRLS3 with Jon Mohwinkle and Shaffer Landuyt calling the action. Pregame coverage begins at 1:45 p.m., with the opening tipoff of the women’s game from Stoltz Sports Center in Dubuque scheduled for 2:00.
