The Christmas season was in the air to end past week throughout the Tulip City.

Between the annual Christmas Tour of Homes returning, Pella Opera House Festival of Trees wrapping up, Sinterklaas making his first visit in two years, and the new Kerstmarkt Dutch Christmas Market debuting, visitors and residents alike enjoyed several holiday-season themed activities while shopping or taking in local entertainment.

The new Tulip Time Royal Court, including Queen Sarah Gritters, Kelly Dykema, Emily Buckingham, Ashley Uitermarkt, and Trinity Vos made their first public appearance after they were selected to represent Pella in November (pictured above).

The Christmas Tour of Homes concluded after being hosted at historic sites throughout town, including The Rock House, Scholte House, and Vermeer Founders Home, as well as a newer residence on Franklin Street.
