
The Knoxville City Council met in regular session Monday. The meeting started with the oath of office for Mayor Brian Hatch and council members Megan Suhr and Dylan Morse. They authorized Parks & Recreation Director Brandon Nemmers to move forward with a contract regarding the parks & rec master plan. They approved a motion to allow for the demolition of the boiler room at the VA campus. They approved a physical fitness incentive program for police officers, awarding paid time off for passing a physical fitness test. They also returned the right of way of W Bell Avenue to the city.
The next Knoxville City Council meeting will be December 20th at 6:15 p.m.
