As the VA campus demolition project continues, changes are dramatically becoming more noticeable, especially from Pleasant Street. The Marion County Maintenance Department has released drone footage from the past month of progress. Additionally, the Knoxville City Council approved the demolition of the boiler room at its meeting Monday.

Facilities and Maintenance Director Chris Nesteby reminds residents that trespassing on the property is not allowed, and that fines for doing so will be enforced.

The demolition is expected to be completed in mid-2022.
