The Pleasantville Christian Church will raise funds from a moving sale this weekend at the new home of Midge Brooks. Brooks has offered several household items for sale, with all the proceeds going toward the church’s building fund. Church board member Lois Turnage says the funds will be used for last-minute items needed in the church.

“They’re going to help us finish off the details and last minute expenses that always occur. There’s some areas that still need to be addressed, changes that need to be made. We’re planning on using this generous donation to finalize and finish up those last minute expenses.”

The sale will be held Friday, December 10th from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 11th from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 403 N Washington Street in Pleasantville. Turnage says the church is nearly complete, and the goal is to have the Christmas Eve service in the new building.
