Those who have been through Central Park and downtown Pella during the evenings of the holiday shopping season may have noticed enhanced decorations.

Pella Community Services Director Jeanette Vaughan says a partnership with the Spirit of Pella organization has allowed for significantly more lights and special displays this winter near the heart of the community.

Vaughan is hopeful residents and visitors have enjoyed the new enhancements with more planned potentially as soon as this year and more likely in 2022.
